Tech International, PANG Industrial’s parent company, received The President’s “E-Star” Award in a ceremony in Washington D.C. on May 20, 2012. Tech International, based in Johnstown Ohio, is a leading global manufacturer and distributor of tire repair, wheel service, conveyor belt repair and rubber products.
The President’s “E” Award was created in 1961, to “afford suitable recognition to persons, firms, or organizations which contribute significantly in the effort to increase United States exports.”
This is Tech International’s third export award from the U.S. President. Tech was first honored in 1981 with the “E” Award and again in 1987 with the “E-Star” Award, developed to recognize previous “E” Award winners for continued success in exports. Tech received its most recent “E-Star” Award in 2013.
Tech International is one of only two companies to have been awarded the President’s “E-Star” award twice!
